Trouble Shooting Tips:

  1. Did you remember to name the graphic by it's appropriate title? The name of the graphic must match the image tag exactly and remember, most Internet servers are CaSe SeNsItIvE so check the capitalization.
  2. Did you place the graphic in different directory than the html file that uses it? You may need to either move the graphic into the same directory or change the path to the graphic within the image tag to reflect it's real location.
  3. Did you remember to FTP the html document in "text" mode and the graphic in "binary" mode when you sent them to your web server? Not doing so will render one, or both of them unreadable.
  4. If you still can't get the image to display, try to open the graphic itself in your web browser. If you still get a broken graphic, it may have been corrupted during the downloading/uploading process. Try downloading the graphic once again and repeating the process.
  5. You may want to add "center" tags around the links you have added (as seen above) instead of having them align by default to the left.
